Our public schools are not just another product in this consumer culture of ours. Cassandra Vert indicates we may have slept through the first 3 stages of a takeover.

We have lost so many rights since 1980, but for most there is no defining moment when it happened.  They are eroded little by little. Each incremental step doesn’t seem harmful.
